The measure applies the precautionary principle since for the moment there have been no more positive nor are there any patients associated with this outbreak.
In total there are fourteen products derived from pork whose distribution covers almost all of Spain, except in the Principality of Asturias, Ceuta, and Melilla, although most are sold in Andalusia. The company has already been instructed to remove all products from the market and to ask its customers not to sell the distributed gender.
It is a precautionary measure that is taken after having obtained a positive for the presence of Listeria in an analyzed sample of a particular batch of meatloaf. From the Andalusian authorities, they send a message of tranquility to consumers, as at the moment no link has been established with the serious outbreak of Listeria that still has affected people admitted.
